Rosedale Redux

This inspirational project is a lesson in making a house a home. When the Canadian owners moved to Toronto after a stint in the Middle East, they chose this Rosedale Victorian because it had already been fully modernized inside. The one problem? The breezy spaces didn’t speak to them. We were brought in to inject their unique fashion-forward style and make the spaces work effortlessly for their busy family. We built the reimagined spaces around treasures collected on their international jaunts, plus equestrian motifs, which resonate with them. We designed a chic, hard-working family desk zone and swapped in contemporary designer lighting. “The blending of family pieces and items from their travels with high-quality custom furnishings and draperies, lighting and objets d’art is truly the magic of this house,” Romina says.
